The continuation. The joy of doing.

When you've been away from creating tangible things for a while, it's easy to lose the muscle memory that pushes you in new directions and enables you to produce things. It's slightly scary, as you might think that some of these motor mechanics are fully ingrained in you, but from my recent experience, I've felt that some of my integral parts are actually missing. This is why Novice Studio exists - to bring back the muscle memory of enjoying creation.

It's been more than eight months since I started taking daily photos, and the studio is ready to be shared. I am incredibly proud of how the brand and visuals look, and how the website is optimised to perform. I also feel lucky to have such amazing people around me who made this possible - for me, there's nothing better than creating something together with people who understand how much things matter and what they truly represent.

In many ways, this is also a blank canvas that will help me find the next steps on my journey and ensure that there is joy in the making. I've learned the hard way that just doing is not the right approach; you need a purpose and vision to make hard work worthwhile. The energy tank is not bottomless, so there needs to be breathing room for recovery and a constant input of possibilities with positive potential.

I am currently in Niseko, Japan, enjoying the most amazing snowboarding. Few things beat the feeling of doing exactly what you dreamed of, especially when you're following through on your gut and personal intention. There's also just the joy of experiencing, being somewhere without having to worry and just being present. For me, snowboarding is the best, and it really brings this state of mind into place.

I currently see it as a non-commercial platform that I will use to explore and express myself. Stay tuned for more, and reach out if you want to chat about collaborations or other things.
